Education: A Journey of Learning, Service and Liberation
Education is not merely the process of teaching children from books; it is a beautiful journey of learning, understanding, sharing and becoming better human beings. As educators, we teach, but at the same time, we are also lifelong learners. Every child has something valuable to teach us through their innocence, curiosity, questions and unique way of looking at the world.
For me, teaching is a form of meditation. To educate a child, especially one who comes from an underprivileged or less-educated family, is much more than a profession: it is a service to humanity. When we educate a child, we open the doors to confidence, dignity, opportunity and freedom. Education becomes a path towards liberation, not only for the child but for generations to come.
True education goes beyond the classroom and beyond the pages of books. Nature is one of our greatest teachers, and our elders and senior members of society are living libraries of experience and wisdom. By observing nature, respecting our elders, learning from experience and developing compassion, discipline and responsibility, children gain lessons that no textbook alone can provide.
Our ultimate aim is not simply to create successful students, but to nurture kind, responsible, thoughtful and compassionate citizens who will contribute positively to society.
Let us therefore make education a journey of learning from children, learning from nature, learning from our elders, and learning from life itself.
"May every child we educate become a light of hope for the family, a strength to society and a responsible citizen of our nation."
